Carl Sagan Day - Gift of Apollo

Carl Sagan was born today in 1934. Of his great list of accomplishments the one that stands out the most to me is his work on The Sagan Series. In part 8 of that series he remarks on the gift of Apollo. The Apollo space program gave Earth and the USA untold advances and new technology, but its greatest legacy was to begin the dreams of a generation of engineers and scientists.
